If you want to have ramen in Chicago, Wasabi is the place to go. They serve ramen that is comparable to those that can be found in Japan. It is a bit far from our campus, but the members who went definitely thought that it was worth it!

We had our first Mitsuwa Trip of the year this Saturday. Our memebers had a lot of fun shopping for Japanese goods and filling their stomach full with Japanese food from the food court. Exploring Nuclear Weapons and Energy

The Atomic Age Symposium will be held this Saturday to discuss nuclear weapons and energy, featuring new documentaries by two women filmmakers, one from the U.S. and one from Japan. They will be joined by a panel of experts for discussion after each screening, with a roundtable to conclude the day. Find out more about the day's programs.
T-shirts will also be sold to promote the conference in Bartlett for $10 each. All proceeds will go towards Japan Relief & Rebuild.

The Japanese Student Association is a Recognized Student Organization (RSO) at the University of Chicago, serving all students interested in Japan and Japanese culture. Japanese international students, Japanese-American students, and any students with a connection or interest in Japan are welcome to join. We hope to raise awareness of and appreciation for Japanese culture, language, and current issues among the student body as well as the local community through a variety of activities and events.
